Nancy Scheel, M.S., is an Integral Coach who infuses her work with insight, clarity, creativity, and an ongoing passion for human learning and development.  She first became interested in the power of awareness and effective “practice” in her early career as a professional violinist, when (hoping to cut down on practice time!) she consciously shifted her practice habits in ways that generated greater flow, facility and skill.  She is founder of Skill And Soul LLC, a coaching and training company based in Miami, Florida.

Nancy’s clients typically seek to deepen their communication and relationship skills, particularly their capacity to be open, receptive, and compassionate with themselves and others.  They are often service-oriented and frequently wish to foster change from within the systems in which they work and live.  Nancy’s coaching provides skillful guidance and a supportive relationship, as clients develop awareness and skill through practice and coaching conversations.  As a result, clients grow into a way of being that brings presence, authenticity, ease, purpose, meaning and connection to their lives and to all those they touch.

As an Integral Coach, Nancy works with all aspects of each individual – thoughts, emotions, behavior, physiology and energy, social relationships, physical environment, and spiritual connection.  Not only do clients develop skills and capacities related to their specific goals, but also the ongoing ability to observe themselves, notice patterns, define alternatives, incorporate practice into daily life, and be supported by others.

Nancy earned her coaching certification from New Ventures West, and she holds degrees from Yale University and Syracuse University.  In addition to coaching, her career experience includes management, training, instructional design, evaluation, online learning technology, and adult literacy.  She enjoys cooking, kayaking, and watching the flocks of white ibis fly over her home every morning and every evening.  She renews herself through conversation with friends and spending time in nature.  She is a member of a women’s circle, and is intrigued by the idea of how the awareness and power of “collective” might also be cultivated in a typical work environment. 

Nancy is currently applying for credentialing from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and studying towards certification as an Enneagram instructor through The Enneagram Institute.
